Around the world analog electric, gas, and water utility meters are being replaced with pulsed non-ionizing radiation smart meters (a.k.a., AMR or AMI meters). Smart meters are often installed on customer's homes without full disclosure about the how they work, potential higher costs, privacy threats, and health and safety risks.
